The Ninety-Nines, Inc. Nominating Committee is looking forward to your help in identifying the Ninety-Nines leaders of tomorrow – those willing to serve our organization with terms beginning in July, 2027.
This election cycle needs members willing to serve as International Directors and on the Nominating Committee. Each of our Trusts will have open positions: AE Scholarship Fund, AE Birthplace Museum, 99s Endowment Fund and Museum of Women Pilots.
NB: Those currently serving who are interested in and eligible to serve another term, must complete the Intent Packet for the 2027 election.
The “Intent to Seek Election” packet will be available by October 1st, with a submission date no later than Dec. 31, 2026.
Candidates are encouraged to become familiar with The Ninety-Nines’ governing documents, policies, procedures, and other organizational resources, all of which are available in the comprehensive online Library in the Members Only section of the website. Many direct links are contained within the governing documents referenced. Inquiries can also be answered by members serving in roles in which you are interested.

The “Intent to Seek Election” form is required of all those who wish to be considered by the Nominating Committee for an elected position. The qualifications for elected offices are found in the Bylaws and Standing Rules (in the Members Area of The Ninety-Nines website) and referred to below. Check them carefully before submitting the “Intent Form”.

To be considered for an elective position, all candidates must prepare and submit the following four items:
1. “Intent to Seek Election” form. (You may not seek or state endorsements by Chapters, Sections, or the International Board of Directors.)
2. A position statement of no more than 250 words. (The position statement will appear in the Ninety-Nines magazine.)
3. A resume with emphasis on aviation related experience.
4. Submit one recent head & shoulders digital photograph in high resolution (at least 300 dpi.)
When you complete and submit the online Intent form, it will be electronically transmitted to all members of the Nominating Committee. Make sure that you have the required photo and resume prepared to upload before you start. You will not be able to save your progress and return to the Intent you start.
The DEADLINE is December 31, 2026.

Cathleen (Cathy) SteeleI have been an active CFI since 1998 and have accrued over 6000 of dual given. Previously I have been the Chief Flight Instructor at a Part 141 flight training school located at KBWI and also served as the Chief Flight Instructor at the first flight training academy in Nepal. Currently I am an independent Cirrus Instructor pilot with Platinum status.
