Sacramento Valley 99s sponsors a Flying Angels Memorial Scholarship. The applicant must be a female who is actively pursuing flight training, has soloed, passed her FAA Private written examination, and must live within 99 nautical miles of Sacramento Executive Airport.

The Chapter has a local Flight Training scholarship of $1,000 available for Texas residents who are a member or Student Pilot member of The Ninety-Nines, Inc.

UNIVERSAL FLIGHT TRAINING AND SRQ LADYBUGS SCHOLARSHIP - $4,000 toward an Advanced Rating
The Universal Flight Training and SRQ Ladybugs Scholarship is being offered to a current, Southeast Section 99 member who is active in her chapter, pursuing any advanced certificate or rating that will advance her aviation career (excludes Private and Instrument).

The SE Section New Horizons Scholarship honors our Ninety-Nines
who have passed on to new horizons, and at the same time, inspires the scholarship recipients as
they achieve new milestones and move to new horizons in their flying achievements.

Each June, the Spaceport 99s awards the Blackwell-Walker Memorial Scholarship to a deserving woman who is pursuing a career path in aviation. The scholarship amount is currently $2,000. The scholarship can be used for any flight training beyond the private/LSA pilot certificate.
Application packages are accepted from March 1 through April 30.

Eligibility requirements are a woman who:

Southeast Section, which includes Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississipppi, Lousiana & Tennesee.
(For example, a flight student with a permanent residence in New York who is attending school in Florida is eligible for this scholarship. Likewise, a flight student with a permanent residence of Georgia who is attending school in North Dakota is also eligible.)

Membership in The Ninety-Nines is NOT required, and United States citizenship is NOT required.

West Canada Section’s $2000 scholarship is open to pilots, non-pilots and non-99s residing in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. Further details are included in the linked application form.

The San Luis Obispo County Chapter of the Ninety-Nines, Inc offers two $2,500 flight training scholarships annually. Application deadlines are April 15 and October 15, respectively, for the Spring and Fall scholarships each year.  The scholarship applies toward Sport, Private or higher pilot certificates or advanced ratings or endorsements. Applicants must be female 16 years of age or older and have parental approval if under 18 years.  They must reside in San Luis Obispo county (or be a member of SLO County 99s),  have 5 logged hours flight time in last six months and have a medical certificate applicable to certificate, rating or endorsement for which the scholarship will apply.   Contact SLO99scholarships@gmail.com for an application form with more details on eligibility requirements and how to apply.
