-Rain Date: November 8, 2026

-Location: Castroville Municipal Airport (KCVB)

-Start time is 10 a.m. Pilots arrive no later than 9 a.m. for briefing

End Time: Tentatively 4:00 p.m.

-Prizes, crafts, food and fun for everyone!

Enjoy this funfilled Air Proficiency Rally. Held at Sundance Airport (KHSD) on Saturday, October 17th. Proceeds benefit the Oklahoma Chapter's Winds of the Future Scholarship. For more information go to the Okie Derby website.

Open to Any Ninety-Nines Membership

Join the Fun! Improve your piloting skills, practice navigation, learn more about your aircraft, and go back to basics. Its Fun, Educational and Challenging!

Pilot and passenger required. Upon arrival, participants will be given a course of approximately 150 nm to fly. The winning competitor will come the closest to their estimated fuel bun over the entire course and there actual speed in knots.

Cash prizes for First, Second and Third place winners.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CFI to help a student pilot learn more about navigation, flight planning, fuel consumption and estimating time over a course. It is a great exercixe in pilotage and dead reckoning. It is a terrific way to learn more about what your aircraft can do.

The Santa Clara Valley 99's are hosting a pizza and aviation night for teens to hang out, try an airplane simulator, play aviation games, learn about flying, eat pizza, and meet new friends.
