The 99s Email Network is for the educational discussion and productive exchange of information on topics pertinent to The Ninety-Nines, including being women pilots and 99s members, flying, chapter/section innovations, and 99s events and activities. Perfect for getting more informed about and/or involved in our international organization of women pilots. (Members only.)

 

The 99s Flight Training Forum is for the educational discussion and productive exchange of information related to flight training, flight safety, flight currency, aviation education, and the related activities of The Ninety-Nines - ideal for finding a flight school or instructor, completing a rating, maintaining currency, and becoming a safer pilot. Moderated by 99s members who are flight instructors and designated pilot examiners.

 

 

The Pro 99s Network is for the educational discussion and productive exchange of information about pilot careers and the related activities of The Ninety-Nines. This is a virtual meeting place for women worldwide to discuss the benefits and disadvantages of different pilot career opportunities, finding scholarships and jobs, balancing work and family, and being women professional pilots. Moderated by 99s members who are professional pilots in different sectors of aviation.

 

 

Why email networking?

 

Networking with women pilots: Reduce your isolation - this is an ideal forum for communicating and connecting with women pilots worldwide whom you might not otherwise meet.

 

Learning: A unique, safe place to ask questions, take advantage of others expertise, or share your own experiences about flying or being a 99.

 

Problem-solving: If you have a question, ask. You will hear from other 99s with similar interests and issues, and everyone can benefit from the discussion.

What is it and how do I use it?

 

An email networking forum is a virtual meeting place for discussion conducted entirely via email messages. It's as easy as sending and receiving email!

 

Participate by writing your message - a question, comment, or response - and emailing it to the appropriate forum's email address. Your "post" is automatically sent out to everyone in that forum (or to all "subscribers" of the "list"), and they will be able to read and respond to it. All subscribers receive that day's messages in a single daily email message ("digest"). Or, you can do as many others do and simply "lurk" and read the posts without responding - you learn a lot that way, too.

 

These email networking forums are different from a group in your email address book because you don't need to keep the names or addresses up-to-date. The email network is managed by administrators who do all that for you.
